Centtrip becomes an Industry Friend of the Film and Television Charity, the longstanding charity that works towards a happier, healthier film, TV and cinema community.
Founded in 1924, the Film and Television Charity supports those who work behind the scenes in film, TV or cinema. In a sector renowned for its passion – but also its hard-working, high-stress environment – the charity provides a 24/7 support line, access to financial advice and support, and help with mental wellbeing, discrimination, bullying and harassment.
The Film and TV Charity leads change through its research and the resources it provides to the sector. To the public, it may be best known for its Royal Film Performance which, last year, was attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales, and featured the UK Premiere of Top Gun: Maverick.
Centtrip is pleased to announce that it has become one of the charity’s Industry Friends, supporting its valuable work.
“It is an honour and a privilege to support such a successful and longstanding charity,” says Centtrip CEO Jane Turner. “Centtrip works closely with those who work behind the scenes – producers, production accountants and others. We understand the pressures and challenges that people often face and I’m proud that we can support the charity as one of its Industry Friends.”
Tom Woodward, Head of Fundraising at the Film and TV Charity, says, “We are delighted to welcome Centtrip as one of our Industry Friends. With our vision of a supportive film, TV and cinema community that works together to make our industry a better place for all, having the support of organizations like Centtrip, who work with and understand the industry, is very valuable and helps us to lead change across the industry.”
Centtrip looks forward to supporting The Film and Television Charity’s work towards a happier, healthier film, TV and cinema community.
